Why not post some different topics, such as puberty, catamenial seizures menopause, pregnancy, parenting, relationships, managing stress, women'shealth etc... then it will encourage to post experiences on these different topics and we can add links to content or other sections of site on these topics that may help
Maybe a fun thread !!

About the Group:
Women can deal with epilepsy in a different aspect than men. When it comes to the start of puberty to when menopase occurs. There are a numerous amount of effects that women can have due to hormones and becaus of childbearing. Due to this I wanted to start a group to talk and get to know other people with the same seizure and if when it comes to certian subjects you can get a second opinion. Overall one will be able to converse and find out information that can help medically and socially.

I want to encourage any woman dealing with seizures that seem to happen right before or after their cycle or during their cycle, keep track of them and get the info to your doctor along with some info you get offline about Catamenials.
Mine were very irregular at first, but then they were very regular, every month, like clockwork. I was used to being very independent, then I had car accidents due to these hormonal seizures. I had to stop driving. That was back in 2002.
I went through lots of different things with my doctors, had 3 of them working with me.....that was a first.....LOL Finally my Neurologist suggested surgery and I jumped at the chance ! Things improved 100% after that.
