Summary

Traveling and going on vacations should be fun, but it can also be stressful for everyone involved. We hope this section takes some of the stress out of traveling by helping you be prepared. If you are going on a camping vacation, please read the section on Adapting Plans to Summer Camp for other helpful tips.

Make sure you talk to your health care team about your travel plans and questions that may arise as you read the seizure preparedness modules. Remember, seizure preparedness is designed to help you become a good ‘manager’ of your seizures by working together more effectively with your health care team and significant others.
